Your homework will be to research the impact of the social issue on your field of study, to identify 15 potential sources and record them in MLA format, then to write up paragraphs on 6 of those sources explaining why they will be good sources for your paper: Budget 2 hours of research time.
General Discussion (Suggested: 10 Minutes)

Today, I want to begin drafting this paper. To do that, we need to accomplish the following:
1) Identify the social issue (you have already done that)
2) Draft an opening paragraph that
- Identifies the social issue and defines it.
- Identifies the fact the social issue is relevant in two stories
- Describes generally what these stories appear to be saying about the social issue, using two of our frames.

6) Body Paragraphs:
- For the next four body paragraphs, you are going to provide examples, first from one story and then from the other story, of how the social issue is shown and the comment you think the author is making on the social issue.
